Keto Burger Buns with Toppings

Keto Burger Buns with Toppings
Sturdy enough to hold a proper burger, soft enough to actually enjoy. No sacrifice required.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for topping
Method
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix the almond flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Whisk the eggs, melted butter, and warm water together. Combine with the dry mix.
Let the dough rest for 5 minutes. This gives the psyllium husk time to absorb the liquid.
Shape into 6 even buns. Place on the tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden and firm to the touch.
Cool completely before slicing. Fill with your choice of burger and toppings.
Three Topping Ideas
Classic: beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a spread of Frenchies Sugar-Free Ketchup. Smoky: pulled pork or bacon with our Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce and coleslaw. Fresh: grilled chicken, avocado, and a drizzle of our Sweet Chilli Sauce.
