Keto Waffles with Maple Syrup
Keto Waffles with Maple Syrup
Crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and completely sugar-free — a proper weekend breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 tbsp Frenchies Keto Baking Sweetener
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk or unsweetened almond milk
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Frenchies Keto Maple Syrup, to serve
Method
Preheat your waffle iron.
Whisk the almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir just until no lumps remain, no need to overmix.
Pour the batter into the waffle iron. Cook until golden and crisp, following your iron’s usual timing.
Serve warm with Frenchies Keto Maple Syrup.
These waffles hold up well beyond a lazy Sunday morning. They freeze nicely once cooled. Make a double batch and reheat them in the toaster on busy mornings, or before an early shift. Our Keto Maple Syrup carries all the flavour without the added sugar of the real thing.
